My Projects
Here is a listing of projects I've created in the last few months with descriptions outlining the details of each piece. If you have any questions regarding anything you see here, please don't hesitate to contact me. I'd be happy to share patterns, techniques, and tips.
Wool Shawl
This is based on the Martha Stewart shawl pattern without the scalloped edge. I sewed the front panel together. I used Bernat Galaxy yarn which is Alpaca, Mohair, and Acrylic.
Purse with Detail
This purse was created using Boa yarn. After I created both sides and stitched them together, I added a silk liner so that the contents wouldn't poke through. I embellished the outside with a bit of flare - a bronze sun.
Fingerless Gloves
These gloves were created to address the fact that my hands are always freezing in my classroom. These gloves will keep my hands warm while I am typing up paperwork and filling out forms.
Decoupage Box
This was my first attempt at decoupage. I'm using a painted Starbuck's tea box with gothic clippings from magazines and other reference sources. I then sprayed the entire thing with a sealant to keep things in place.
